The Rocky Mountain Chapter of ABC honored exceptional efforts in Merit Shop Construction while celebrating the entire construction industry during the 15th annual Excellence In Construction (EIC) Awards held on Oct. 21st at The Four Seasons Hotel Denver.
As part of the festivities, the event concluded with a Casino Night After-Party.
Excellence in Construction Award Ceremony
Excellence In Construction provides ABC member general contractors and specialty contractors the forum to showcase their projects that are the premier representation of their work. Any project completed within the last two years by an ABC member in good standing was eligible. Over 180 attendees from the construction industry gathered to celebrate the achievements.

Criteria included factors such as complexity, unusual challenges or problems overcome, innovative techniques or programs, value-engineering, safety records, and owner satisfaction. The Award of Excellence is awarded to first place winners, Award of Merit is awarded to second place winners and Letter of Commendation is awarded to third place winners. Projects that received Award of Excellence or Merit are eligible to compete in ABC National’s Excellence in Construction Awards.
