It is with great excitement that I write to you today, confident that 2018 is going to be a great year for our chapter. As you are aware, Mark Latimer has announced his retirement after 21 years with ABC and will be greatly missed by our members as both a leader and a friend. I am proud to announce that after an extensive search we have secured a new President and CEO to lead our chapter.
Our new President is a seasoned executive with over 22 years of experience in association management in commercial construction trade associations. Due to a confidentiality agreement, we cannot release the name of our new President at this time, but his experience in finance, strategic vision, membership growth, governmental affairs, and education/training will serve our membership well. He will bring strong leadership to the Rocky Mountain Chapter, and sends this message along to the membership:
“I am excited to bring new energy and vision to the Rocky Mountain Chapter. Working together we can better the industry and help our members win and perform jobs safely, ethically, and profitably for the betterment of the Rocky Mountain communities within which we live.”
Join me at our Denver Holiday Party on December 14th as we reveal the name of our new President and feel the momentum as we sprint into 2018! A formal announcement of his name and contact information will be sent out shortly after the event.
The chapter’s soon-to-be President will start just after the new year, and rest assured that our chapter will be in good hands as Mark will remain with us until he comes on board. Please join me and your fellow members in building on this exciting news by getting more involved in 2018. Recruit a member; join a committee; give back to your industry.
