Each year, the ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter honors the outstanding achievements of its members in the construction industry through the Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards and the Safety Excellence Awards. Regional winners have the opportunity to advance to national competitions.

ABC is the only industry association that actively champions the benefits of Merit Construction. We support free and open competition, advocating for contracts to be awarded to the most qualified bidder at the best price. ABC works to eliminate restrictive policies in both public and private construction projects.

Celebrating Outstanding Achievements of 2026

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors invites you to present your company’s innovative methodology, commitment to safety and leadership in the commercial or industrial construction industries by entering this year’s Excellence in Construction and Safety (EIC) Awards competition. An invaluable business development tool, the EIC Awards demonstrate your company’s dedication to and achievement of the highest-quality standards throughout the region. Winners will be recognized at our Excellence in Construction and Safety celebration on October 21st.

2026 Rocky Mountain Program Dates & Deadlines

Monday, June 1, 2026 — Intent to Compete Registration opens
Friday, September 4, 2026 at 11:59pm (MST) — All submission packets and $400 registration payments are due at this time.
Saturday, September 5– Saturday, September 12, 2026 – First Round of Judging will commence
Saturday, September 12 — Saturday, September 19, 2026 — Second Round of Judging will commence if necessary
Final Week of September 2026 – Winners will be notified and we will celebrate the recognition at our annual Excellence in Construction® and Safety Awards on the 21st of October.
EIC Registration fees of $400 are due no later than Friday, September 4th at 11:59pm (MDT)
