ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter works closely with the students in Colorado State University’s Construction Management (CM) Club. ABC’s CSU Student Chapter provides opportunities for the students to interact and build relationships with industry members through monthly club meetings, social events such as pool tournaments and fundraisers at various ABC events. These types of events help raise money to help pay for the students to attend the ABC National Construction Management Competition. The competition is designed to challenge construction knowledge, organization, time management, and presentation skills. Members of the student club are enrolled in architecture, construction management, civil-engineering or any other construction industry-related course of study.
ABC members have also gotten involved by being mentors to the students which allows for real-world experience and exposure. These interactions help prepare the students for the National CM Competition but also help them prepare for life after graduation. Click here for more information on the student competition.
