ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter Construction Industry Scholarship
The ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter Construction Education Scholarship has been developed to encourage further education and support growth in the construction industry. Scholarships are available to students pursuing a Certificate of Completion or a post-secondary education leading to a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field. Supported areas of study include, but are not limited to:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Masonry
- Painting
- Carpentry
- Architecture
- Construction-Related Fields
- Apprenticeship Opportunities

Payment
- Scholarship will be paid directly to the college/university/trade/vocational school with proof of registration from the participating educational institution. Payments will only be made toward education, books, room & board, course materials and supplies, or will be will be applied to applicable supplies, fees, or equipment with proof of payment.
- Scholarship award monies must be expended within 6 months from award date unless recipient is participating in an ASCENT program.
Nationally Recognized Training for Electrical Excellence
Purpose
The purpose of the ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter Education Scholarship is to encourage further education and support growth in the construction industry.
Areas of Interest
Construction-related fields or professions including, but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, painting, carpentry, architecture, or construction-related fields, including apprenticeship programs.
Award Categories/Level of Education
- A maximum of four scholarships (2-$3,000 & 2-$2,000) will be awarded in 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Scholarships are available to students pursuing a Certificate of Completion at vocational, technical, and trade schools, or a post-secondary education leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field.
Eligibility Requirements
- Intend to register at or currently attending an accredited college/university OR post-secondary vocational school of his/her choice.
- Complete the Scholarship Application.
- Provide high school transcript.
- Provide two (2) letters of recommendation. (The people providing the recommendations must include phone numbers where they can be reached for verification).
- Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
- If not yet graduated, must currently attend a Colorado high school or high school equivalent.
