Board of Directors
ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Board is responsible for defining the organization’s mission and purpose, setting policy, strategic planning, establishing long-term goals, allocation of resources and monitoring organizational outcomes. Our Team
Committees
Committees are the operating system of the association and help carry out the goals of the strategic plan. Committees are essential to the success of ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter. All ABC members are welcome to participate on a committee. Some committees may have a size limit. Committee members must be employed by a dues-paying member company. Members can also get involved with individual volunteer opportunities or short-term duration activities such as serving on a task force, helping with special events or special projects, fundraising, speaking at an event, or serving as an instructor or trainer or supporting advocacy efforts.

The Government Affairs Committee is responsible for identifying local issues impacting the construction industry in Colorado & Wyoming and candidates for office that support our pro-business positions

The Safety Education Committee is responsible for assisting ABC members to drive safety improvement, coordinating safety stand downs, communicating best practices to members, and assisting with safety events.

The Workforce Development Committee serves to provide outreach to the high schools and post secondary schools that ABC sponsors through NCCER. The committee will collaborate to develop programs, presentations and public relations initiatives to promote the industry as a career of choice. The committee also provides input and assistance on professional development programming offered throughout the year at ABC.

The Membership Development Committee directs the recruitment and retention initiatives of the association. Each committee member makes personal contact with current and prospective ABC Rocky Mountain members. The committee plans and facilitates the chapter’s business development socials, various events throughout the year and member outreach campaigns.

The Committee is responsible for developing the ABC Rocky Mountain Young Professionals program, implementing it, and helping to distribute it to members across Colorado and Wyoming. The committee focuses on creating valuable benefits for the Young Professionals program, managing its logistics, and discovering new and innovative ways to engage young professionals within our membership and the broader construction industry.

The Events Committee will work alongside the Events Manager to organize and run all ABC-sponsored events and meetings. They will encourage member participation in these activities and support the Events Manager in bringing them to life. The committee will also help set event goals, define objectives, and track outcomes. Committee members can choose the areas they want to focus on, whether it’s logistics, hospitality, entertainment, or other event-related tasks. This committee is designed to be engaging and hands-on, offering members a central role in the planning and execution of ABC Rocky Mountain events.

The Education Committee will collaborate with ABC Rocky Mountain’s Education Director to enhance training programs, apprenticeship opportunities, and professional development initiatives. They will help identify member needs, shape curriculum goals, and support efforts to grow participation in ABC’s educational offerings. The committee will also assist in planning workshops, certification courses, and continuing education events that strengthen the skills of the region’s construction workforce.
