Committees
Committees are the operating system of the association and help carry out the goals of the strategic plan. Committees are essential to the success of ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter. All ABC members are welcome to participate on a committee. Some committees may have a size limit. Committee members must be employed by a dues-paying member company. Members can also get involved with individual volunteer opportunities or short-term duration activities such as serving on a task force, helping with special events or special projects, fundraising, speaking at an event, or serving as an instructor or trainer or supporting advocacy efforts.

The Committee is responsible for developing the ABC Rocky Mountain Young Professionals program, implementing it, and helping to distribute it to members across Colorado and Wyoming. The committee focuses on creating valuable benefits for the Young Professionals program, managing its logistics, and discovering new and innovative ways to engage young professionals within our membership and the broader construction industry.
The Events Committee will work alongside the Events Manager to organize and run all ABC-sponsored events and meetings. They will encourage member participation in these activities and support the Events Manager in bringing them to life. The committee will also help set event goals, define objectives, and track outcomes. Committee members can choose the areas they want to focus on, whether it’s logistics, hospitality, entertainment, or other event-related tasks. This committee is designed to be engaging and hands-on, offering members a central role in the planning and execution of ABC Rocky Mountain events.
