Seeking candidates for the 2023 Board of Directors

Dear Members: 

The Nominating Committee of ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter is seeking candidates for the 2023 Board of Directors.  The Committee is calling for candidates that have a good understanding of ABC’s mission and core values and who want to serve the Rocky Mountain Chapter and the industry.

Serving on the Board of Directors gives members the opportunity to represent ABC locally and be an active participant in advancing the mission of ABC and the Merit Shop Philosophy.  Additionally, board service provides an opportunity to grow personally and professionally, to develop leadership skills, broaden professional relationships, benefiting your company as well as individual professional development.

All ABC members are eligible to serve on the Board.  Candidates must be employed by a dues-paying company.  The Committee is accepting applications for the following positions.

• Director – Three (3) year term beginning January 1, 2023
• Treasurer – One (1) year term beginning January 1, 2023
• Secretary – One (1) year term beginning January 1, 2023
• Vice-Chair – One (1) year term beginning January 1, 2023

       Second consecutive terms are permitted.

Here’s how to Apply:

1. Complete a Board Member Interest Form by Wednesday, November 2nd at Noon.
2. Before submitting an interest form, be sure to review the position description and our board member job description and agreement document.

The 2023 board slate will be presented to the membership during the Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022.  The new Board term begins Sunday, January 1, 2023.
